BOSTON DOG LOVERS: Take the commuter rail (Amtrak) from Boston’s South Station or Back Bay, relax and save money! It is just a few minutes walk from the train station to the RICC, most of it indoors if you enter Providence Place and head toward the Westin Hotel.

Providence’s Bay Colony Dog Show runs from 8 a.m. to about 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday; arrive as early as you can. Admission is $12 for adults and seniors, and $7 for children.

Note: You cannot bring your dog to the show according to AKC rules. Feel free to bring home a treat for your pet... it’ll make the homecoming sweeter!

The Rhode Island Convention Center is located at One Sabin Street in the heart of downtown Providence, RI, adjacent to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center. The RICC has its an indoor garage attached to the convention center. As weather is cold and unpredictable, please do not leave dogs unattended in cars while you visit the show.

Parking is $10 for event attendees and for exhibitors’ overnight parking; four-day passes are available for exhibitors only (inquire at ticket booth). For additional parking and RV/trailer parking information, call RICC at 401-458-6500 or visit www.riconvention.com.
